Institute of Banking Personnel Selection எனப்படும் IBPS ஆனது Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainee (MT) பணிக்கென காலியாக உள்ள பணியிடங்களை நிரப்புவது குறித்த அறிவிப்பு ஒன்றை சமீபத்தில் வெளியிட்டது. இப்பணிக்கென மொத்தம் 3849 பணியிடங்கள் நிரப்ப உள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது. விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் Prelims மற்றும் Mains தேர்வின் மூலம் தேர்வு செய்யப்படுவார்கள். தகுதியானவர்கள் 23.08.2023ம் தேதிக்குள் விண்ணப்பிக்குமாறு அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தது.

14.09.2023ம் தேதி Admit Card வெளியான நிலையில் Prelims தேர்வானது 23.09.2023 மற்றும் 30.09.2023ம் தேதி நடத்தி முடிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நிலையில் IBPS ஆணையம் ஆனது அதன் அதிகாரபூர்வ தளத்தில் புதிய அறிவிப்பு ஒன்றை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. அதில் Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainee (MT)-க்கான Mains தேர்வானது 05.11.2023ம் தேதி நடத்தப்பட உள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தவறாது Mains தேர்வில் கலந்துகொள்ளுமாறு அறிவுறுத்தப்படுகிறார்கள்.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body set up to evolve and implement world class processes of assessment and selection of personnel for various client organizations. The foundation of the Institute is based on the philosophy of Speed, Accuracy and Confidentiality in all its activities and it strives to achieve this through a blend of modern technology and academic expertise.

IBPS provides its service to all Public Sector Banks, SBI, RBI, NABARD and IDBI which are regular members of the IBPS society. In addition Regional Rural Banks, SIDBI, LIC & General Insurance companies, Co-operative Banks, many Public Sector Undertakings in Non-financial sectors, Government Departments, State owned companies and Corporations also avail its services. Some major universities and reputed Management institutes engage IBPS regularly for conduct of their “Admission Tests”.

Over the years, IBPS has gained reputation of being a major “Personnel Selection Test Conducting Agency” of the country. Its strength lies in its capability to develop and construct Multiple Choice Objective Tests & tools used for mass level testing programmes and its ability to conduct these exams simultaneously for lakhs & lakhs of candidates in about 200 cities/towns all over India and also in few foreign locations. In addition to that IBPS also has expertise in conduct of “Assessment Centres” & “Group Dynamics Related Personality Assessments” for selection and/or testing of personnel at higher level positions like AGMs/DGMs/GM etc.

During the year 2022-23, total 87.60 lakh candidates registered for various IBPS Examinations. This itself is an achievements of the institute. This indicates that more and more candidates are getting attracted towards job opportunities in Banking, Insurance and Financial sectors and directly/ indirectly, are showing their confidence in the system of the On-line tests conducted by IBPS which are absolutely fair, transparent and test of job relevant skills, aptitudes and knowledge.

What is the difference between IBPS PO and so?

Probationary Officers are entry level officers who start their role as a officer at various banks. IBPS SO is conducted for the recruitment of Specialist Officers. As the name suggests, Specialist officers are hired for special roles in the banks and hence requires some substantial amount of experience.
